5.0 out of 5 stars. More comfortable than others

New to biking this year, so I tried to stay cheap with non brand name bike shorts on Amazon. These offer more comfort, and for longer. I'm a 34 waist in pants, and went with everyone's recommendation of going one size up. I normally buy a large, but got the XL. Even though it fit ok, I wanted bike shorts to be snug. I exchanged to Large and it fit perfect. Not super tight but snug. Well made shorts.

I bought these for my husband - he’s 6’3” about 195 and the large fit great. He’s been wearing them to spin class and finds them comfortable.

I bought a XL and I'm very happy I did. These fit well but in most bike shorts I buy a large. Even at XL these are snug but they are supposed to be for long rides comfort.

Great shorts for the money. Training for a half Iron Man and these get the job done.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
