Turns out, they are pretty nice. First, CoolMax. It wicks and keeps my feet cool. Second, cushioning. These are not the lightest weight socks but has generous amounts of fabric. Third, size and shape. I've always found my size 9-ish wide feet (I wear 9.5 or 10 in shoes) to be between M and L size for socks. I ordered the M and although snug, the L would have been too big. I've worn them half a dozen times, and they have maintained their shape and support. I liked these so much I got more with my next STP order.
