The leather is buttery soft and top quality construction. I like the larger size so I can fit a water bottle, book and other typical purse items. One reviewer said it was too big for her 5'4" size. I am 5'2", 115# and I love the size. It has 4 interior pockets. I like the simple flop-over magnet closure keeping contents private but very quick and easy to lift flap to get inside. I am thrilled to have such a beautiful piece and at STP prices! I highly recommend!
