It's not hard to put on, as some reviewers have noted, and I have fairly normal feet (size 12) and slightly larger calves. I'm not sure how this would work as a compression sock, but that's not how I'll be using them. Got the L/XL size.

To my surprise I really like them! Their snug fit feels great without being too constrictive. They are more durable than smartwool and they are made in the USA. I’ll be buying more. FWIW, I find the M/L fit my size 10.5’s perfectly.
