Thinner more flexible suede than I had imagined but very comfortable. The sole takes a little getting used to but after a couple days I don't even notice. It isn't difficult to walk on. They came in my favorite color, purple. The fit properly and are comfortable. My only concern is the sole is narrower than the top of the slipper. This means that only the center of our foot from toes to heel is supported on the sole and the sides of your feet are unsupported. It feels strange and unstable. But I'm getting used to them.
