Nothing like a coastal boot to save your feet from morning turf or rain. Light, tall and useful; attractive to...boot.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Cute boots!

Just bought these and they are super cute! I wear between a 7 1/2 -8 and wish I would've been able to get an 8 for a little extra room with my thicker boot socks. So far traction has been good in snow and ice.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Now in heavy rotation

Huh. I am reading all the reviews and my experience is a little different. These are actually a little large for me when ordering in my normal size. The toe box is quite wide and I need to wear heavier socks with them. Which is fine, because they're styled more like fall/winter boots anyway. They're very warm, and non-skid, so great traction in damp/wet. I love them and wear them often. They required about two days of break-in time for me.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great show! Definitely order up a size.

I love these shoes. I read a few reviews that they were narrow so I ordered half a size up. When first worn they do feel a bit tight but as you wear them they loosen up. Love these shoes!

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Very small

I am typically a size 6 and that was what I ordered, but I could not even fit my foot in the boot. Order an entire size bigger. Also, their return/exchange policy sucks because i had to pay again to ship them back and then again to order more.

About Sperry

After a slippery boat deck nearly sent him overboard, lifelong sailor and inventor Paul Sperry created the first pair of Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes in 1935. Determined to find a solution for better traction, Paul carved small grooves into the bottom of his rubber-soled shoes, called “siping.” His idea for the prototype was actually modeled after his dog’s paws, which had evolved to navigate slick, wet terrain. Today, Sperry boots and shoes combine siped rubber soles for outstanding traction with advanced technical fabrics to keep out the watery elements. Over the years, Sperry boat shoes have even become the official footwear of the U.S. Sailing Team, the Shimano Fishing Tour and the U.S. Naval Academy.
