What I was unprepared for was the way this made my HIPS look huge! And it turns out I could NOT get away with the waistband, though I'm a slenderish six-footer who can wear just about anything. Ugh. Sent it back. Nice fabric, though. Shame...

I suppose the wide black panel at the top is meant to fold over the top of the patterned fabric, but why would anyone want to add bulk to their abodomen? (If that were the case, the skirt would be designed with the print on top, rather than a solid color!). I thought the print model was wearing a long black top over the skirt, I certainly didn't see the black panel or I never would have ordered.
