Not only were they thick, they were also cushioned and adjusted to her size 6 foot nicely. However, after one wearing, they developed a small hole by the big toe. No worries. Figured it wouldn't get any larger. (I've had Hanes socks with small holes that remain small for months.) Today, after wearing them a handful of time, she takes her shoes off and her big toes have gone straight through the socks. I'm sure these were defective and hopefully Sperry will warranty since STP no longer does that.
