The shell material feels a little 'cheap', ie, thinner and not as padded as other brands (new balance, nike, reebok, asics). I can't tell if it's this owing to actual quality of materials or if it's because of some newfangled technology. I don't mind the material so much as I feel the toebox is really wide. I am an M and this feels like a W. It's not uncomfortable, I think I'll keep it, but it'll get a little getting used to
