They have a nice wide comfy waistband.

Don't want to pay return postage.. will wash & see if they shrink. I don't like the high up to my waist feel-it is elasticized a tummy control style-- may have my seamstress friend alter- I could roll over but then it is too thick.These are a medium/heavy weight & stretch-- but again I should have gone down a size --Probably tighter & better fit. (duh!) Price was great...These look like real jeans IMHO. Pleasantly surprised gald I took a chance..
