5.0 out of 5 stars. I'm IMPRESSED!Reviewed by alfie from NEW YORK on Wednesday, November 28, 2018So, I was just browsing the website/store & saw this Mountain Logic Hoodie. Liked the detailing, overall look & that it was a "fitted" fit, as wanted a mid-layer piece for when it's extremely cold to use along w/my "go to" Spyder winter coat.
Well, let me tell you, this does the job & more. I found myself very warm & at times, sweating a bit when I was running up & down the house stairs loading the kids & stuff into the SUV a few weeks ago.
This piece by itself is top-notch quality, beautiful, nice contrast between the blk., orange & detailed paneling & stitch work... I'm glad I bought this thing! -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Buy it before they are gone!Verified Buyer Reviewed by donmo from Tacoma on Monday, October 15, 2018Buy it before they disappear at these prices (I already got mine :) ) I purchased my first Ascender used from Whittaker Mountaineering (the jacket had been rented for Rainier summits). When I saw the blow-out prices from STP I immediately bought my second. It has a stretchy back and under forearm panels to keep the jacket close to the body. I like that the sleeves are also insulated (I have a Marmot where the sleeves are just fleece and my arms can get cold). The sleeve length is generous for those with longer arms (I buy 33-34 in dress shirts and the sleeves on the jacket are plenty long). It's a great jacket to wear alone hiking in 50+ degree weather. Or it makes a great mid-layer in colder temps. I would definitely buy this again (shoot--I already did!)
Take a look at MtnLogic (now rebranded at Bight Gear); equipment is vetted, tested, and refined by mountaineers.
