I have several pairs of shoes from the Sofft brand and always wear a 7.5. This shoe is narrow and short in the toe box. I think a size up would slip in the heel. I returned them, regrettably.

I wore them about 2 hours - mostly standing. They made my outer ankle bones hurt where the collar came up too far - could not wear them. In those two hours the bottoms had some scuffing and I knew I could not return them. It also looked as if it would not take much to scuff the leather. They went to a local thrift store. Bummer!
