If it came in other colors (like black) instead of HOT pink I would give it 4 stars. It is pretty low cut and I can't say how it will perform in the water, and for me - 5'6", 118 lbs - the skirt is a little shorter than what it appears like in the photo. I bought a small and it seems to fit well over my one-piece suit, and also alone with a separate top. But it is a very bright pink!

I agree with other reviews that it is too short to add much additional cover. I kept it because it didn't seem worth sending back.

When I try folding it over, the serged seam shows, and is not attractive. Also, the actual color is much brighter pink than the more purple-y magenta I see online. This is going back.

It's generously sized, so I can get my XXL hips into the XL comfortably and without weird binding or excessive stretching. Because I have generously sized hips and behind, the back coverage is less complete than the front, which is fine for my purposes, but might not be for yours.

The item was returned. Skirt seemed a little 'short' -- yes, I know, it's swimwear and it should be short -- but the idea of a skirted bottom is to have a little more coverage.

I wondered if it would just be too skirty and make my thighs look big. I was pleasantly surprised that it's not super flouncy and was quite flattering unlike some fitted swim shorts I have tried that make normal sized thighs like sausages. The color in the photo is muted compared to the hot pink that arrived, but I plan to just mix and match it with a top I already have for the beach and enjoy the extra coverage the skirt provides. I had to exchange the small for an XS- the waistline runs big.
