The fabric is on the heavier side, so they are best worn during cooler weather. They fit kind of like a legging (except a little looser around the ankles), but don't really look like a legging due to the thickness of the fabric; thus I can wear them to work in an office. They fit well and don't have a huge gap at the waist, which is frequently a problem for me with pants. I did have to take them to be hemmed, but I expect this because, alas, I am short. The lady who does my alterations loved them and wanted to know where I got them - especially after I told her the price I got them for. If I needed yet another pair of gray pants, I would definitely buy another pair - totally worth it.

I ordered a Large for my 35" waist, 44" hips and they have more of a leggings silhouette on me. However, the fabric is thick and stylish and comfortable an I think a larger size would have been too big in the waist.
