This helmet is great! It's got phenomenal protection and you can really hear everything. The vents are great and the beanie fit is great. Plus I love the fact it has MIPS, as a ski patroller this is my go to helmet, I highly recommend!

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Scratchy and firm ear pads

This would be a great helmet if the ear pads on the liner weren't so firm and scratchy. There is a weird rough coating on the ear pads and they are kinda stiff. They kept rubbing and pressing on my ears in all the wrong ways.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. A solid helmet, light, warm

This helmet makes good use of a honeycomb-style structure to drive its weight down.

The beanie-style insert is pretty warm but a little bit rough. If it's a colder day, you'll want to wear your own thin hat beneath, more for comfort than for warmth.

This helmet has no adjustable vents, and I'm not sure how comfortable it will be on a warm, sunny day. But so far it is working out well. It took me some time to find a good MIPS helmet for below $100, and I think the purchase was a good one.

This helmet is amazing! it is really warm and I love the removable beanie feature. Plus the colors are great and you have great auditory awareness as the vents are placed really well.

the liner didnt fully cover my ears but the boa adjustment is really nice to have when wearing a beanie underneath
