May be BPA-free, but may contain lead and other chemicals...Reviewed by Davey Crockett from Tennessee, California on Friday, February 22, 2019This Stansport Expandable Water Carrier product photo omits an important warning label that was present on the carriers I purchased from Sierra. Had I known, would not have purchased this water carrier.
"This product can expose you to chemicals, including lead phthalates, or more chemicals, which is [are] known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm."
So while they're selling you on the feel-good BPA-free aspect, they're hiding equally or worse chemicals. -

Very comfortable handle for carrying a distance. I would recommend getting two! I bought one a while back and wished I had a second to balance the load, so when Sierra got more in... I snagged up a second.
