Woolrich Jacquard Eagle Wool Throw Blanket - 46x60”

I have the moose, elk and bear throw blankets from Woolrich that I picked up here at STP for a great price last year, and they are family favorites. They are very well made and are holding up to regular use quite well and I would say that it was definitely money well spent. I was happy to see this one and purchased two...one to add to my set and one for a gift.
I think this throw is beautiful--since it is jacquard, the design is reversed on the other side. On side is kind of cocoa brown with a beige checkerboard eagle as shown in the product image and the other side is beige with a cocoa brown checkerboard eagle. I would say that this is a medium-weight throw, not as heavy as some other 100% wool throws that I have in this and other brands, but not too light either...it is warm and cozy and will be perfect for chilly winter nights. At 46" X 60" the size is generous enough for someone of my height (5'4") to snuggle under but is probably just enough to cover the lap and legs of tall individuals. I sent one to my now elderly father last year for Xmas and that is how he uses it -- he finds it to be the perfect extra layer for watching TV in the evenings without feeling too bulky or heavy...and it looks great draped over his favorite chair during the daytime. This throw seems to be part of the Treverton collection by Woolrich and I feel that it is a excellent deal at this price and if more happen to become available in other animal designs, I will definitely buy them.
