1.0 out of 5 stars. toe strap broke in less than a yearReviewed by fungo from SF Bay Area, CA on Monday, January 20, 2014The design on this is unique in that the cord that makes up the toe strap runs inside the outer side of the V shaped leather. The end sticks out and is held in place with a simple overhand knot. By pulling the cord the wearer can tighten/shorten the toe strap to give a snugger fit. This is nice since leather stretches over time however can be uncomfortable because the cord can press down on top of the foot and the leather can bunch where the cord runs between the 2 layers on the V. Also the skinner straps on the V don't hold the foot in place very well compared to the wider or dual strap designs so it is necessary to make it fit tight if I don't want my foot to slide off to the side. After wearing them daily for 6 months it finally broke in enough to be comfortable. What's really bad is that the small single strand cord for the toe strap quickly gets worn by rubbing where it enters the footbed and has broken in just 1 year! I should mention that I did where them daily for walking around the house.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love ChacosReviewed by Montana hiker from Montana on Friday, November 1, 2013This summer I wore out my leather Chaco flips. I was on a search for a replacement and knew they had to be Chacos again. Best flip flop ever. I have several pairs of the regular Z2 sandles and love them too but it's nice having a good pair of leather flips that have a comfortable foot bed.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome sandalsReviewed by Momo10 from Indiana on Tuesday, October 8, 2013I love theses sandals! The leather is soft and smooth. Love the embossed smooth sole. Fit is true to size . Adjustable strap is a plus since leather stretches.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Abraded top of foot, loose & sloppyReviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Sunday, June 2, 2013I have a high arch, high instep, and wide toebox. I usually wear men's leather Chaco flips, which fit me perfectly. Wanted to try a prettier color than brown this time. However, these won't work for me. Right where the top strap meets the thong, the underside is not smooth, and the edge of the strap abraded a little raw spot on the top of my foot the first time I wore them - painful. They felt loose and sloppy on my feet, and my foot kept sliding off the sole to the side near the back. I tried tightening them, and that helped for a little while, but within a half hour, they had loosened up again and the slipping and abrasion returned. I can't wear them Too bad, because the ability to tighten them seemed like a good concept, and the colors are pretty..

1.0 out of 5 stars. OUCH!!!!Reviewed by Lisa from Baltimore on Wednesday, May 22, 2013I bought these with plans to wear them as my "nicer" shoes during a month long trip to Central America this winter. I wore them to dinner my first night there. I walked no more than 7 blocks total and I had so many blisters I feared the rest of my month away. Fortunatly my feet healed quickly and my trip wasn't ruined. I did haul them all over with me and brought them home, hoping it was a fluke. I wore them for the first time this spring having taken the time to line the leather straps with mole skin. Didn't matter! Again, walked just a few blocks and had the start of terrible blisters. These things are the worst!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfyReviewed by Anonymous from S.Carolina on Tuesday, May 21, 2013My first pair of Chacos lasted for 5 years. These are just as comfy and more stylish. I'd give them 5 stars if they weren't made in China. (Hi Chaco... would be GREAT selling point if your brand would switch made in Americas or Europe. More socially, eco-responsible that way. )

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not Chaco comfortable standardVerified Buyer Reviewed by Skilady from Fernie, BC on Tuesday, February 12, 2013I wanted these for lightweight travel. However they are stiff and uncomfortable and do not have the usual Chaco support for walking.
