He is an average sized 3 1/2 year old and we purchased the 2/3 size. I did look up a sizing chart for this brand. I would say they run on the the large side (like a 3/4) which is great because hopefully it will fit him next year as well. He has stayed warm and dry when playing in the snow. The hood has a snap adjustment to make it smaller, and it’s got a bit of elastic in the front for a better fit. Really pleased with this coat.
