3.0 out of 5 stars. Cute but be prepared to cut them offReviewed by Jody from Montana on Wednesday, September 12, 2018These are cute, fit true to size - I bought a 7 - getting them on took some struggle, once on I really liked them, would not be good for someone with wider calves though.
However, when I attempted to take them off without marring up the leather (because I knew I was returning them) it was next to impossible. They leave no room for wiggling in the shaft of the boot. My calf cramped up something awful trying to get out of these.
Be prepared to have someone with some strength to help you pull these off.
It's too bad because they are a really cute boot. -

When they arrived and I opened the box, my heart swelled with adoration. Beautiful! But I couldn't even get them on, let alone try them on for size or comfort. See how it snugs up at the ankle for that sexy silhouette? Yeah, without a zipper you can't get your foot past that, you know, if you have bones. Even with great looks they are still shoes, and if they can't do a shoe's job, they get 1 star.

For me, I will have to break these in around the house before wearing them out and will have to purchase a pad to go under the ball of the foot for extra support. The heel is a bit higher than what I'm used to and I will need that extra padding to offset the heel height. They're true to size and I will most likely wear a thinner merino wool sock or tights with these. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

I'd like the boots, nice leather, the rivets, which can cut into your ankles on the inside, but, I wish they had zipper on the inside to make it easier to wear them. Hence 3 stars only, my went back. Too bad, I really like them once they were on, the hight of the heal was right, non-skid sole, and so was the fit.
