It's super-lightweight, which means the fabric is not going to withstand a ton of abuse. Its design seems to enable you to pack it into a bigger backpack, thus enabling you to pack a lot of goodies on short hikes from day camp. The netting also lets you take off layers and stow them on the outside.
Overall, for the price and function, it's a good buy.
