5.0 out of 5 stars. Great, warm jacket!

I wear this coat when car camping as a super warm and comfy outer layer. Its too bulky for hiking and such , but great for staying warm by the campfire. Also great for horseback riding in the mountains in Colorado! Can't wait to wear it this fall. Love the color, very classic, fits well. It is wool, it's not extremely itchy, but you may want to wear long sleeves under it.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. The perfect liner to a light weight Jacket

My wife loves her Wool Jackets. I bought her the Heirloom Red & the Deep Indigo. She wears them as coats/sweaters or as a liner coat/sweater under her light weight Rain Parka. She is 5'6" 125# and they look nice with the tapered wait. Looks fitted to her shape. :)
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Great Style, Too Itchy

Really wish this had a non-wool liner because I love how this jacket looks. Also love the blue colors of the plaid - it's so classic. But while trying it on, I had to remove it immediately due to the scratchy material.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Good quality materials and workmanship, but not for tall, lanky people

Had this item fit me properly, I would have kept it. Very nice warm jacket, but the sleeves were just too short for me in both the Small and the Medium. I am generally a size 6 on top, with long arms (I am 5'11"). This jacket was constructed too boxy for my torso. I am giving a high 4 star rating though, because it really is a quality made product that another lady will get years of wear and enjoyment out of on the ranch or on camping trips.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
