5.0 out of 5 stars. They Love It!

I purchased 2 jackets and put them under the Christmas tree - size XL for my huby and size M for my son-in-law. They both love the jackets so much, that they are wearing them very often. The design and quality are outstanding, the jackets are very soft and warm, despite lack of "heftiness", this is indeed a superior product with secure pockets and very good quality front zipper.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent Jacket

Light, warm and the fit is very flattering. I both Microchill jackets for several family members, everybody liked them. My husband's first Microchill jaket is 3 years old and was washed multiple times, does not look like new anymore, but it is still on good shape. Since that time I bought him five jackets in different colors. The fit is perfect.

For a light jacket around the house and to sleep in, it's awesome.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great lightweight fleece

This is exactly what I was looking for - I have a similar fleece from TNF in a pullover 1/4-zip - I believe it's also a 100-weight; and I wanted something full-zip...fits great, not too baggy (I'm 5'11" and 160# with 34-35 sleeve length) - sleeves fit perfect, which sometimes can be a pain (usually too short). We'll see how this holds up - it's thin, but that also means it layers nicely and doesn't get in the way. Needs to get a little cooler here in NC before I can really put this through it's paces, but used it on a recent trip to upstate NY and it was great.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great hiking fleece

Utilitarian, light weight fleece. Good number of pockets, compressible for hiking/camping. Better warmth per weight than most fleece I have had- no coating or windproof surface, good for active wear in the cold or for layering under shell.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Flimsy, pills like crazy
Reviewed by Colorado Hiker from Colorado on Sunday, March 13, 2016
I don't know what the point of this jacket is. It's too thin to be warm, pills like crazy, and is a pain to put on over other clothing items (does not slide easily, and is really meant for people with skinny arms).

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
