Their sizing is accurate-to-generous, i.e. the XL is really an XL(18) and not like a bargain-brand XL, which I swear is more like a 10. Anyway, these are cute and super-breathable and the lace is soft and makes them more invisible than the thin elastic on the boy-short style. But they creep up on me, which is a deal-breaker. They might not if they fit better.
