It is lightweight, and I imagine quite durable.
Make sure you measure with a flexible tape around the largest part of your head (just above the ears - where the hat brim would sit) and convert the number to the size list posted on here for hats. I did not do this correctly the first time, and had to return as the hat was far too tight, but STP was amazing as usual with exchanges - better than most other companies out there.

I have a very small head, and it fits very well. I really like the 'sweatband'! Going to change the block a bit, but that's what's great about straws- you can do that! The only thing that was not so great was the hat was dented on top I was able to fix it a little though, you may want to consider packaging the straw cowboy hats better so this does not happen if you can use the hat boxes which are more sturdier that may help.- Best Uses: Wear all the time
