My job requires black pants, preferably not jeans but most women's pants don't have pockets, an essential in my line of work. These pants fit the bill as they have pockets but look more professional than jeans, no markings on the back pockets, no random color changes on the knees, etc. They stretch but they're thick so they "bounce" back, unlike some stretchy pants that seem to stay stretched out after an hour or so of actual moving around.
