Might not be a good first pack for the owner and dog.

It works fine except if you put water in it, no matter how hard you work to make the packs balanced, they slide around. And if you choose to attach your leash to the dog's collar, the leash will usually get stuck in the packs and whenever the dog pulls away, the pack becomes unbalanced, usually flopping to one side.

Not to mention the D-ring that is pictured on the back, isn't even in the back of the handle. It's in front of the handle closest the dog's neck. While this may have been designed so that it gives you more control, it wrinkles the harness and the packs when the dog pulls making it look just a tad bit ugly.

I did however like that the packs are detachable, that said, don't expect to be able to stuff a whole lot of things in them.

And while it does have a front D-ring to deter pulling, I wouldn't recommend it for heavy/hardcore pullers. Only ever really works for mild pullers.

Might work perfect for the owner who can trust and let their dog off-leash with the pack on.

Pros:
Helped tire out my dog
Detachable packs
Can just be used as a harness
Front D-ring can be used to deter mild pulling
Has a dispenser pocket for poopbags
Easy to attach and detach packs

Cons:
Small packs
Leash tangles in the pack easily
Flops to one side when carrying water
Using the back D-ring wrinkles the packs and harness
Looks better on a dog that isn't so fluffy (I have a fluffy dog)
Looks kind of militaristic, and in turn seems to dissuade on lookers from coming in to pet my dog when I use it solely as a harness.
