All of the knives have serrated edges but they are a big improvement over my sister in law's knives. We'll be breaking them out for the next family gathering with steak or prime rib.

The knives are not massive or extraordinarily heavy as some steak knives can be. The design is neutral enough to go will with our everyday cutlery or our "guest" cutlery. Makes an excellent gift (even to yourself!!). STP makes this choice easy at their prices.
