5.0 out of 5 stars. Great boots, fit nicely
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Devon from VA on Tuesday, December 11, 2018
I have a foot in the 10.5-11 range, normal width, and these fit just right in a 10.5 (11 was too big and I had to return it). They do not feel narrow to me, other than the fact that they are leather and have some break-in necessary around the toe box as most leather boots would.

They are light for walking around generally, would work for light hikes, and are comfortable all day. But they are obviously not true hiking boots (no ankle support being slip-ons) and are not winter boots despite the treads (not really built to be waterproof), but are decent for cold temperatures. They are very sharp looking and I had a stranger come up to me to ask about them in the supermarket the first day I wore them, something I've never had happen. I think they will need a dose of mink oil about once a year, which will darken them some, but they should last a long time.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Worst boots I have ever experienced
Reviewed by Stapletron from Oregon on Tuesday, November 12, 2019
I am a bit of a boot fiend. Have suffered through many a tough break in for Red Wings, Whites, Docs and others. These seem to be specifically designed to cause the worst heel blisters in the shortest time no matter what. I wish I was exaggerating, but these will gladly go into the trash, as I would not wish them on another soul. Maybe these are the worst thing that Samuel Hubbard has ever made, but I won't go near them again.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Runs small

I bought the size 8, and I wear a 7.5 in most brands, and it was too tight so I had to return them and get Timberland's. Nice construction and look, just too small.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Product

My sneaker size is 9 and I ordered 8.5. The size is a perfect fit for me. The shoes are very comfortable from the beginning and no break-in is needed. The shoes are high quality and highly recommended.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Samuel Hubbard Cowboy is A-okay!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Samuel Hubbard Crosstown Cowboy from AR on Monday, February 11, 2019
I bought these on sale for only $59 (+taxes, I also got a free shipping code), so it was a nice deal for me! The boots seem quality, have a very cushy and comfortable Vibram sole, and an overall nice aesthetic. I know people talk about them being narrow, and as I'm usually between a 9.5 and 10, I ordered the 10. They're not that narrow for me, but I do have a slimmer foot maybe. There was one little issue for me. The left boot may have been more snug. They were pretty tight getting both feet on, and the left had more of a tight fit on the upper part of my foot. Maybe it's my foot, maybe it's the boot. Not 100%. These obviously aren't lace-ups, so it's kinda a "it must fit right or it doesn't" type of product. I got such a good deal and wanted it to work that I stretched it a bit as I could in that area, and just pushed through the tightness. They've loosened a bit after a couple of weeks, and it keeps getting better.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Well Made - Runs Narrow
Reviewed by WhenPigsFly from TX on Sunday, February 10, 2019
These boots are really well made. They have a full leather lining as well as a removable leather insole/footbed.
They run true to length, however they are narrow. I have narrow feet, so I'm very happy with them.
