The gathering gives a bit of extra room across the tummy if you need it. The neckline is a bit "thick" for my petite frame but I will make it work.

Sizing is true. I sized up not realizing this was true and Woolrich sizing is not always dependable. I will rely on my dryer to shrink the shirt a bit - that often works!
