5.0 out of 5 stars. Fun and Easy!

This is my first pair of snowshoes and these are super easy to put on and take off. The telescoping poles are great and come with two attachments (baskets) so I can use them in the summer for hiking as well. A great price for the entire package! Love them...……….

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. mediocre

The heel binding on these snowshoes is hard to adjust, but the top ratchets work wonderfully - they are easy to tighten and release with gloves. The poles are mediocre. The locking clamps come lose and it is difficult to tighten the snow baskets, so I lost one right away. These are a good deal, but remember: you get what you pay for.

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Damaging design

I purchased the Mountain Profile 821 Yukon snowshoe kit from Costco on 11/07/2014 for $69.99 plus sales tax. I used the snowshoes for the first time today, Sunday, February 10, 2019. Snowshoes have no shelf life and over the past few days there has been a record-breaking accumulation of snow at 200 ft above sea level on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. After viewing the Mountain Profile you tube tutorial I set out on my snowshoe hike. The decking at the fore abraded my Asolo leather hiking boots toes, boots that have maintained and that have served me for 25 years. A proven quality purchase. I located the Costco sales receipt and will attempt to return the product (though Costco was in 2014 affiliated with American Express and I no longer have the card ending 4-51000). I doubt my experience is an isolated complaint as the model is no longer available. My recommendation is bypass anything produced/marketed by Mountain Profile under the model Yukon or Charlie's Yukon whatever the series.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Snowshoe commute to work

I live about 2 miles from work and wanted to have the option to snowshoe for my commute when I was too snowy to drive. I bought my snowshoes on black friday during the free shipping promo but it hasn’t snowed since early-November so I haven’t been able to use then as much as I’d like. We finally got some snow that other day and I was able to give the Yukon Charlie's 821 Trail Snowshoes Kit with Ratchet Bindings and Poles a whir! They work great, I highly recommend them. I am a big fan of the bindings, very easy to get them on tight. I'm also glad I went with an aluminum frame (very light weight) and metal crampons because there were a few times when I had to walk on the pavement. They seem like they will last a long time and I'm very happy with my experience with the Yukon Charlie's 821 Trail Snowshoes so far!

Haven't used them yet, no snow in Michigan right now ??
Love the color and hope light weight they are.
