The metallic sheen is very subtle. Almost more pearl like. I really like that. The best part is the fluffy fur lining. A must in the sub-freezing temps when I spend time in the high altitudes of Colorado.

I have a big head (size 7 1/4) and it fit me okay. The microfleece lining is a little snug. Good hat for when you need to go outside with damp hair in the cold.
