One thing to expect leather to expand slightly, another for it to shrink. Had to eat the $10 to return and restock. Arch support would be nice. These gaps are likely why they wound up at STP. Oh well, you pay your money and take your chances. Kept my other purchase.

But, my husband couldn’t get his foot into the boot due to the narrow throat opening. He doesn’t have a high arch and has worn pull- on boots his entire life. Sadly, we had to return them.
