Very nice beltReviewed by Chief Systems Engineer, Ret. from Virginia on Wednesday, September 24, 2014It appears that the 2nd "flaw" is that the cloth "Carhartt" label sewn to the back of the buckle tab is slightly askew, not perfectly square to the belt. This is hidden when worn, and could easily be clipped off at any rate. I wear 33 to 34 pants, and the 36 belt fits me on hole 3 or 4 (of 5) depending on the pants and where they ride. It's sturdy enough to support an IWB holster.
If it came in the darker brown in my size, I'd buy another. -

That is how most belts fit. Other reviewers had a different experience. My theory is that these belts are 2nds because some belts in this Carhartt production run were mislabeled as to size. There are no flaws or blemishes I can detect that would account for it being a 2nd.
This is a good quality leather belt for work or casual wear. In my opinion it is worth $15 and no more. I bought "brown" and the color is much lighter than STP's stock photo. If you don't like the color, any leather conditioner (Lexol, Obenauf's, etc.) will make it darker. One reviewer didn't like the Carhartt logo on this belt's "keeper." One application of leather conditioner makes the logo invisible.
