5.0 out of 5 stars. Sensitive quality rod that won't break the bankVerified Buyer Reviewed by WissahickonWild from southern NJ/Philadelphia on Wednesday, May 8, 2019I matched this rod to the Shimano SLX baitcasting reel and I love the combo, it's light, sensitive and fast with great flex, I've used it three times in the past 4 weeks and scored 3lb smallmouth and largemouth bass in different waters. I got the medium action and if you compare that to say a St Croix Triumph casting rod, the medium is like a medium heavy in St Croix. w/ G Loomis design how can you go wrong? You can see footage of the rod on my youtube channel user name WissahickonWild.
