Don't get it if you tend to have any gush at your waist or bra straps. I'm a size 6/ 36D and usually get Medium, but I went all the way up to XL in order for the top to look athletic and not too sexy. Definitely attractive and comfortable now.

Frankly, I don't find athletic tops to be all that. I have not been impressed by any. This top is no exception. While it does offer compression, it doesn't offer enough compression to compress any unsightly bulges you may have in and around your waist. It's very form fitting so i went up a size, but you can still see a bit of bulge where the waist band of my pants are. I like smooth lines so, I just scrunch it between the waist and hip area and it's all good. Plus you still need a sports bra because there is no support for the girls.
I do love the look of this top. For the fashion aspect of it, i give it 5 stars. For athletic merit, I give it 2 stars. -

I am 5'3", weight 130lbs and SIze Medium is just right. This shirt is great for running and cross training at the gym. Very stylish and washes great!
