The North Face Borealis 25L Backpack (For Women)

I actually purchased this on a whim. I have an older style NorthFace backpack that I have used for like 10 years, but the straps don't have padding and though it is still in excellent shape, I have wanted to upgrade and keep the old backpack as a spare.
I am glad I did. The separate pockets make it so much easier to keep all of my items organized, and I love how soft the fleece parts are-- It feels like a higher quality fleece that won't pull with time. My laptop and tablet easily slide into the sleeves meant for them, and I never struggle to find things like I did in the past. The back and shoulder straps are padded -- but don't offer any more support than my older style backpack. I guess I wanted the gel padding. The backpack with the same amount of items as my older pack without padding actually feels heavier at times, and I can't explain why. The support isn't as comfortable either, which is strange considering my old pack is a cheaper and older style of north face (not borealis) that has absolutely no padding on the backpack whatsoever. That being said, I don't regret my decision. Being able to be more organized so easily and efficiently makes this an awesome pack for me.
