I was pleasantly surprised that the material was the denser, wind blocking type fleece which I was looking for. The jacket is comfortable to wear and is perfect for cooler weather. It's been getting pleanty of use in the Rocky Mnts where the morning temps are still dropping into the 30's. It will get plenty more use once fall rolls around. Can't go wrong for the price.
