  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. This is for snowboarding, not working.

This is good deal for $30, but... the term "workman" is perhaps a bit of a spoof. It seems that the full name is "Matix Workman Mens Insulated Snowboard Jacket." I was puzzled by weird elastic flap with snaps that is sewn inside (and isn't in the photos). You can wrap it around and snap it together to form a "gaiter" which will seal the bottom and prevent snow from blowing up inside the coat from below. Probably good for snowboarding, but I'm going to just cut it off.

Also, the teal is darker and more drab than the photo shows. If I had it to do over, I'b probably dry the duck instead.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Made for “workers” that use layers
Reviewed by Medmassager4life from Oregon on Sunday, January 12, 2020
This smooth face, hooded, slim-lined and water proof design is named the “workman(women) jacket” for a reason. People who actually work outdoors/winter understand the need for layers to both insulate and remove off for ventilation.

    * This item is not meant to be a one layer “puffer” or massive snow-sport parka.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor quality.

Not much of a jacket- very thin material on exterior and lining is worse- thin and of poor quality. The sizing is off also- too roomy in shoulders and the arms are uncomfortably long as well. Can’t recommend this jacket.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Buyer be ware. Not what you think.
Reviewed by Rob from NJ on Wednesday, September 25, 2019
The jacket is very thin with virtually no padding and the material does not feel substantial nor of the quality one would expect. More like a late fall coat than a winter jacket. The lining is thin and of less quality than the exterior. The color is nice and the sprayskirt a good addition but seems like an ofter though as the construction + styling of the jacket as a whole is underwhelming. Sizing is off as the MEdium was extremely roomy, particularly in the shoulders and sleeves. If you like a more fitted jacket look elsewhere. The sleeves are long (even in the product photo and the jacket bunches up when you sit down while wearing it). The hood is also strange as it is wide and shallow and doesn't sit well on the head for this reason. All around this jacket is barely worth the reduced price of $50+. Had anyone purchased it at the original cost they would be ashamed of themselves and Sierra. If I had paid $30 at Walmart I would have been impressed as the value would be in the product but with this jacket, as advertised and priced and from Sierra, I returned the jacket the same day I received it.
