The nylon lining is slightly slippery, I can feel the hat riding up a little. That said, I love this hat and wear it as my go-to sun hat whether hiking, canoeing, walking the dog, or lunching out of doors. It shades my face and neck without blocking the view like a wider brim hat would.

It offers sun protection to about your mid-nose part of your face so if you are looking for full sun coverage this is not the hat for you. I found it breathed well and stayed firmly on my head. I ordered the Regular size.

The fold in the picture is only on one side not both as it eludes. Too costly to return so I'll just make the best of it.
