4.0 out of 5 stars. Love these pants...but ...Reviewed by Brenney from Adirondacks on Saturday, January 10, 2015I love these pants. I bought a size 10 and they are true to size. The waist is perfect, not too high and not too low. They fit and move with you. I wish I could get a few other colors. My only problem is the zipper. The zipper does not stay up!

5.0 out of 5 stars. SuperVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Indiana on Friday, December 12, 2014I have bought jeans/pants from Mountain Hardware before. As I get older, it has been harder and harder to find a fit that doesn't make me look ridiculous or out of shape. The waist is great. Not too low and not elastic above my waist. The color is easy to match with sweaters and shirts. Just all around a great product.

3.0 out of 5 stars. quality pants, but shape didn't work for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoorgirl from Northern California on Wednesday, August 20, 2014These are substantial pants - I'd wear them in winter. They are soft and stretchy and well made. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs, and I ordered the 4. My waist is significantly smaller than my hips. These pants did not work in any way. The rise was way too low (if I bent over, you would've seen too much), and the waist was huge compared to the hips. I swam in the waist - at least a 3 inch gap. The hips fit just a little snug. If you are bigger in the middle versus the hips, and also short waisted, these are the pants for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars. shapeReviewed by Bee from Georgia on Wednesday, June 11, 2014I'm usually a size 14 in a LE pants, so I purchased these in a 14 and they are a bit big in waist and will need a belt to wear. They sit lower than waist and have pockets in the back with raised buttons (not fond of that look). The gray color is great as is the fabric. The stretch makes them worth keeping because of ease when climbing and moving. Yes, I'll hem them, but after I wash and dry the pants- they look cute rolled up, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars. ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by be bim bop from Everywhere on Friday, May 2, 2014Only problem is you might want to try a size down as they tend to run large. My first MH pants purchase, well made and tough yet soft material.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good pants, seem largeReviewed by Epsilon from San Francisco on Monday, April 14, 2014These pants manage to be both sturdy and nice enough looking that I can wear them to work. The stretch and cut meant that they fit on my curvy build better than a lot of outdoor gear does. However, they seem to run large so I exchanged for a size down.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Pants!Reviewed by Colorado Gal from Colorado on Sunday, February 2, 2014I love these pants and they are nice enough to even wear on Friday/Causal Day. I originally ordered a 10 and had to go down to an 8 as they were more roomy than other hiking pants I had purchased.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice pants- sizing inconsistentReviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Tuesday, November 12, 2013I bought two pairs of the Mountain Hardware LaCarta Pants- one in khaki and one in the dark grey color. The first thing I noticed was that the grey pants were a bit longer and bigger in the waist than the khaki. The khaki pants fit perfectly (size 4, length 32- 5'6" and 125lbs). I decided to keep them both since I can wear a belt and heeled shoes with the grey pair. The are casual but still nice enough to wear for work.
