Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Feels like butta

These are my favorite lounge pants. Loose enough to be comfortable and not stuck to you, but fitted enough to be sexy. Waist is flattering if you are battling any type of lovehandles, as I was when I first got them a few months post baby. I am back to my 128 lb self though and am still comfy in the size smalls. If you are working out, maybe size down? I don't know. They are great for me, but I don't want to have my pants completely stuck to me. I got two pair and am contemplating more.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Great fabric but way too big and high waisted

These felt really comfortable on, but were way too roomy all around and the waist was several inches higher than would be comfortable. I usually wear a medium but they were sold out and sometimes L in exercise gear fits me, so I tried the large, but I swam in them.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Weird Waist

At first glance, I loved these pants when I put them on. The legs have a nice fit and the raised seams give it a cool, unusual look. However, I just don't get what they did to the waist. There are two overlapping pieces of fabric that bunch up and make the front and back look baggy and unfitted, and the drawstring is about an inch two low, so if I actually cinched it, it would tighten around my hips and pelvic bone. Unfortunately, I can't just keep the legs so I'll be sending these back.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Strange fit!

I have a slim athletic build size 8. I found the legs on these pants to be a little more snug in the thighs than is normal even for stretchy fabric pants. For me the hips and waist were too large (and I'm not tiny) - the stretchy fabric was baggy. I really like Mountain Hardwear as a brand and was bummed when I tried them on. So I sent them back.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
