Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. a near perfect boot

I have purchased these boots for both my adult sons and they love them! One of them read a review that they ran big so he wanted a size smaller than he usually wears, we had to send them back and get his regular size. The other son has had his over a year and they're holding up well. He wears them often and is hard on boots. The lining isn't thick so if you were looking for a really warm boot, this ones not for you.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great boots.

I read the other reviews before purchasing and I have to agree that these run big. Typically I wear a US 10 in most brands so I ordered a size 9 and they fit perfect. The boots are very comfortable and have a "broken in" feel to them right off the bat. There's no real downside to these boots for me. Just know they're not a winter boot.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. RUN BIG, Order down 1 full size

Not sure if the other person below got a different batch but this boots seem to fit like standard boots (Redwing, Wolverine ect) meaning you need to order 1 full size less than your running/street shoe. If you look at the euro/american sizing, you can see Sorel mixed things up with a size 12 being a 46.5 as a US12 should be a euro 45. If you size to your actual euro size you will be right on ( 11's are 45's, 11.5 are 46, 12's are 46.5) but I

Overall, a good looking medium quality made in China level boot. Fit is roomy and medium/high volume with a broad for foot. Certainly wouldn't trust my life to them in the woods but for some warmth and grip in winter parking lots and walking the kids to school they are perfect.

I really like these, even better than they look. Very comfortable and warm lining. Stylish and lightweight too. So glad I bought them!

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
