I was unaware of the toe spike rule. He's been practicing in them and says they're more rigid then he's used too. I'm making him wear them anyway, thinking he'll get used to them. No blisters, no sore spots - just stiff. Might even file down that front toe spike and use them for the season.

I just wish STP still had a size that would fit! Order one full size up, especially if you have wide feet.

I am 33 years old and play 2 or 3 soccer games a week. Recently I've been experiencing severe pain in the heel of my right foot, these boots have nearly eliminated the pain. The Lethal Tigreor employs a raised heel design, like a traditional running shoe, instead of the flat or raised toe of most soccer cleats. After a couple games I am now used to the raised heel.

Excellent shoe with "lowered" heelReviewed by Cynthia from WA on Tuesday, March 18, 2014Bought this shoe for my son due to the interesting discussion online about the relationship between traditional soccer shoes (which place the heel lower than the foot) and this one, which raises the heel to slightly higher than the foot. It is supposed to reduce heel pain some soccer players get (or reduce the chances of getting that problem in the first place). First, my son reports the shoes are very comfortable - needed no "break in" period. Second, the heel is not odd to wear - he reported they don't feel really different or odd. Last, he feels he is kicking better than before in them. We purchased a second pair in size up b/c he likes them so much. Runs true to size. Price is about 40% lower than on other websites.
