Bought them for cold weather day-to-day life in rural New England. They are very tall and very warm, which gets them a big thumbs up from me! They have been a great match for walking the dog through thick snow and mucky fields.They started out stiff but are softening up appropriately. I ordered a size up, as I always do with winter boots & the fit is great. My only criticism is that the tongue is a bit bulky when trying to tighten them up.

When I finally went to put my new waterproof boots on there's a hole on the top seam where the robber and upper come together. Honestly I'm dreading dealing with the return or exchange. This was my first pair of muck boots, and first order from sierra trading post. Not happy at all

They have the solid construction that I expect from a Muck boot, with a bit of style that I get from my Sorel and Bog boots. Both of those are wearing out, and I was in need of a replacement for both. This boot has a bit of a smaller foot profile, not as bulky as the work boot Mucks.
The top of the boot is solid Neoprene. This allows them to slide on and off like traditional Muck boots. The laces allow the cuff to be tightened if needed. These boots are less clunky than the Sorel Joan of Arctic boot. I've been looking for a solid snow boot that will work for yard work, snowshoeing and snow play, and I think these are going to be a great fit for that. -

We live in Coastal Maine next door to a wooded Nature Preserve. My daughter plays, and works on the trails, and by the river with the local land trust organization. She is very hard on her clothing. Last Winter she went through 3 pairs of boots, she grew out of one, ruined another within days of getting them, and then I bought her the neoprene topped Muck Boots...they were the only boots that could stand up to the abuse she put them through, but they were not super warm even with heavy socks. So when I saw these insulated, lace up, waterproof Muck Boots I ordered them immediately. They fit well, are roomy enough for a pair of wool socks, and they are very warm and dry. My daughter has worn them every day for the past two weeks while it has been cold, rainy/snowy and her feet have stayed warm and dry. These boots are even stylish enough to wear to school. I like that they are more breathable than their neoprene topped counterparts so they don't seem to retain the "wet foot" smell! (Thankfully!) I would DEFINITELY recommend for anyone looking for a warm, dry, comfortable boot where you have room to wear a pair of wool socks and not feel like your feet are suffocating. Great Buy!
