I am 5'3 and 122 #'s. The small was too small but the fit made me think that the medium would still be awkward.

I thought I was getting a bamboo-type material but instead it was organic cotton. Fit was nice and seemed to be true to size. Pants are definitely a crop length. I'm 5'1" and even these are short on me.

They are so comfortable and good quality - I wear them all the time to run errands and kayak in.
xl is usually comfortably loose on me and these fit me like a glove with a little stretch. -

The Pants look stylish except the bottoms of the legs were strangely large (almost like crop bell-bottoms), so I took them in...and now they look wonderful. I mind that I had to modify them, but now that I've done the work, I have 2 pair of exactly what I was looking for: crop pants that are good for exercise and casual/dressy evenings.
