I purchased the black ones--very pretty subtle flower design makes the socks special. The top is a bit of a 'scrunch' weave but is comfortable and still stays up.

The fact that the top doesn't really stay put is a nuisance, but minor compared to the comfort of the foot. If you like socks with arch support, these are a good choice. If arch support annoys you, you will notice it in these socks.
