Rough on skinVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Thursday, January 21, 2016I got several of these for my girl, but she complains that they scratch her skin too much. I ended up substituting these for thermal leggings not made of wool but a softer material. I must say that we recently moved from a tropical area into the NY winter and that we are suffering of dry skin due to the temperature shock, so perhaps she will be able to wear these next winter when her skin will be more accustomed to the dry weather. The material construction is of good quality, but I do wish the wool were softer.

Normally all she will wear is the thinnest cheapest Walmart leggings and I am costantly trying to come up w/a way to keep her legs warm in the cold winter because as she says "the cold never bothers her anyway" but it bothers ME for her! She won't even wear thin base layer long undies so smartwool tights were a longshot and last desperate attempt - lucky for me she loves them! Now I just need to find some play dresses she will agree to (she has always been a leggins and long sleeve tee girl) so she can wear them out of the house!
