4.0 out of 5 stars. Great BackpackVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Saturday, July 9, 2016Works great, as expected. Plenty of pockets and pouches. Comfortable and neat looking. Only reason for 4 stars is one of the stitching between two sleeve pockets started coming undone, but not a big deal, and easy to fix.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So handy!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Minnesota on Thursday, February 4, 2016I bought this bag in the green color and it turned out to be a more gray/green than I expected, but I love it even more! The material is quality, the zips are very well constructed, and it has SO many pockets. I bring it to work and I'm pretty sure I find new pockets every day. The TSA laptop pocket is super useful and has a very soft interior. The bag lays very flat so it is easy to bring on public transport and keep it out of everyone's way. I've seen other reviews with concerns that it is too long/large but I'm 5'1" and I don't think it looks overly large on me, so I think it'll suit just about anyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love itVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jay Scott from Oregon on Sunday, December 27, 2015I searched many sites looking for just the right pack for my laptop. This fit every need. I was more than pleased at the quality and utility of this pack and my 15" fits in it perfect. It might be a bit tight for a 17" though. One thing I like about it is that the laptop goes in to a well padded compartment all the way in the back which opens and lays flat. Very convenient.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great backpackReviewed by Dissigennie from CA on Thursday, December 10, 2015I had a Timbuk2 backpack a few years ago that was stolen, so after my interim backpack got a hole in it I thought it was time for a new one.
I really like this bag, it's relatively professional (as much as a backpack can be) and slim. I was worried it would look big, but I'm 5'7" and it looks fine on. There's lots of space and convenient organizing pockets. The laptop slot is kind of a pain to get to, but you get used to it. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Backpack!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dissigennie from CA on Sunday, October 25, 2015I had a Timbuk2 a couple years ago that got stolen and it seemed like time for a new one. This is great! The color is a nice dark blue that looks professional and clean. There are lots of organizing pockets, and I love that it won't get fat and overstuffed. I always carry a water bottle, so I'm glad there's a spot for that.
I was worried it would be too big for me (5'7, female), but it looks great. The sleeve fits by 15" macbook very well. The first few times I put in/out were a bit awkward, but I have the hang of it now. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Decent productVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Phoenix on Saturday, May 30, 2015Good product but not as expected. The pictures don't represent the actual product. The material looked much better on the pictures.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Well thought out packVerified Buyer Reviewed by Grab and Go. from WA on Sunday, March 15, 2015Pockets are well thought out and it holds plenty of different items. and still keeps a small profile. I love the small mesh cord pockets,
Padded laptop sleeve plus a half pocket for bulky cord that will fold out for tsa.
Side slip pocket for water bottle or travel mug.
Great handles top and side, and shoulder strap might be worn as a messenger bag.
No waist belt, though the sternum strap really helps hold in place. A waist belt might come in handy, though most times, they are an added strap in the way for simple daily carrying.
Material appears thicker than other reviews stated and certainly sturdy, zippers seem fine, not sure how they will hold up.
This is my first Timbuk2 product and I am very pleased with it so far. As usual great Sierra Trading Post service. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Roomy, functional, professional (enough)Verified Buyer Reviewed by Madison Running Mama from Wisconsin on Friday, February 6, 2015I bought this to replace the massive work bag that was throwing my back out of whack. It works really well; I carry my laptop and cord, multiple files, notebook, small purse, and random other stuff... And have room to spare. Once I adjusted the straps to fit it was comfortable. I like that there are grab handles both on the top and side. If there were a way to tuck away the backpack straps so that it could masquerade as a briefcase it would be a dream come true! The bottle opener on the strap is out of place but not as obvious as I feared it would be.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Not the same Company, not the same productVerified Buyer Reviewed by Guy in Denver from Colorado on Saturday, September 27, 2014The Timbuk2 company was bought out by two investment companies and the products now suffer from quality and innovation that formerly distinguished the products. I purchased this pack for bike commuting to work, but found it paled in comparison to my old Tumbuk2 messenger bag. Mostly, I found this bag's shoulder straps to be uncomfortably stiff around my neck–so much so it felt as if it were cutting off my circulation. Therefore, I decided to return the backpack.
Cons: No key lanyard, cheaper stitching and material, laptop compartment not padded on bottom, no reinforced material on bottom, not water resistant,
zippers catch on bag's material, water bottle pocket too short for 1 liter bottles, no compression straps.
Pros: Price, TSA-friendly laptop compartment, bike blink strap. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for college!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Monday, September 15, 2014Bought this for my son for his freshman year of college and he loves it. Very functional and looks great as well.
Also, can't beat the prices at STP!
