3.0 out of 5 stars. What cushioning?Verified Buyer Reviewed by kcpaull from South Carolina on Tuesday, July 29, 2014There is little cushioning in these shoes and no terry cloth whatsoever. They are actually lined with the same material as the uppers which is somewhat like velvet. They are better than the alternatives I've found which are only clogs that are as hard as wooden shoes, but only slightly.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Bought as a gift, but returned unopenedReviewed by hikeep from PA on Saturday, February 1, 2014Based on her love of her old Acorn scuffs, my mom requested a new pair. I thought these would fit the bill, but I didn't even take them out of their packaging before I returned them.
The plaid fabric was so mismatched between the slippers it looked as if they each came from a different pair entirely. Also, the sole did not seem as sturdily constructed as Acorn scuffs of past, so I didn't even want to waste time showing these to dear old Mom.
I'm waiting for better Acorn scuffs to show up on STP! -
2.0 out of 5 stars. Not large enough.Reviewed by Peeg from New York on Friday, January 10, 2014This slipper is for a narrow to average foot. Does NOT have a deep cushiony footbed as described, no better than a pair of Dearfoams but double the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great slipper.Reviewed by Anonymous from South Carolina on Wednesday, November 27, 2013Shoe fits well and is warm. I've not worn slippers in years so I have a little problem with my heels slipping side ways. That, however, is not the fault of the shoe-just it's nature.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Really Acorn?Reviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Friday, November 15, 2013Have worn & loved acorn slippers for years. They need to go back to the original drawing board. I bought these because the description sounded right: yes they are padded sort of, it seems to fall away around sides. It's not the ahhh sink in of good ole day acorns. Having worn their scuffs for years I decided to get them. Felt good at first...more worn worse they feel....feet slide, the plaid band is bit tight & hasn't changed with wear. If you love Real Acorn slippers these are not it.
