  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. What cushioning?
Verified Buyer Reviewed by kcpaull from South Carolina on Tuesday, July 29, 2014
There is little cushioning in these shoes and no terry cloth whatsoever. They are actually lined with the same material as the uppers which is somewhat like velvet. They are better than the alternatives I've found which are only clogs that are as hard as wooden shoes, but only slightly.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Bought as a gift, but returned unopened

Based on her love of her old Acorn scuffs, my mom requested a new pair. I thought these would fit the bill, but I didn't even take them out of their packaging before I returned them.

The plaid fabric was so mismatched between the slippers it looked as if they each came from a different pair entirely. Also, the sole did not seem as sturdily constructed as Acorn scuffs of past, so I didn't even want to waste time showing these to dear old Mom.

I'm waiting for better Acorn scuffs to show up on STP!
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Not large enough.

This slipper is for a narrow to average foot. Does NOT have a deep cushiony footbed as described, no better than a pair of Dearfoams but double the price.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great slipper.

Shoe fits well and is warm. I've not worn slippers in years so I have a little problem with my heels slipping side ways. That, however, is not the fault of the shoe-just it's nature.

About Acorn

From humble beginnings handcrafting slipper socks to present-day factory production by skilled craftsmen, Acorn has always had one thing in mind: Comfort. Acorn slippers are so incredibly warm and comfortable that astronauts take them to space and Sherpas pack them along on expeditions in the most extreme of conditions. Acorn sheepskin shoes and boots are naturally breathable, wicking and great for warming chilly feet around the fire or after a surfing session. And while nowadays there are many different designs and innovative features, the constants are the lightweight, soft, and unbelievably cushioned interiors produced using only the finest materials. With this degree of comfort, it’s certainly no wonder Acorn customers are devoted and loyal -- nothing else compares.
